School Supply Project

Can you remember starting school and the excitement of getting new school supplies??? All children need the supplies to help them be successful, so before school begins in August, a group of volunteers begin watching the circulars for school supplies to go on sale. They spend donated funds to purchase the school supplies that each campus requests, and we put together campus-specific bags. As parents request help, those bags are delivered to each campus for the children to pick up on the first day of school. The Hallsville Lions Club, several churches and some individuals make contributions of school supplies and monetary donations.  For this program to continue, we will always need funding, as this project is not in the school budget.
