Welcome! This website is dedicated to the students, alumni, and friends of Hallsville ISD.  The Foundation seeks to provide independent funding for projects and programs that enhance the quality of education for HISD students.  Money raised by the Foundation will not replace tax dollars, but will be used to raise HISD students to a higher level of academic excellence.   MISSION STATEMENT The Hallsville ISD Education Foundation will generate and distribute resources to the Hallsville Independent School District for programs and projects that enhance the quality of education and provide students with opportunities to become contributing citizens and compete in our increasingly complex world. What's Happening... 2008 Annual Fund Drive Total Pledges Received (Week Ending 11/3/08) $13,421.90 (38.3%) The Foundation is now hosting the 2008 Annual Fund Drive with a goal of $35,000.  Pledges and contributions can be made through January 31, 2009.  Click on the Annual Fund Drive link to access a donor card.  Because the Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization, donations are tax deductible.  For more information, please call 903-668-5990, extension 5723.  Help us Touch Tomorrow, Today!  The Alumni Association newsletters were sent out on Tuesday, August 12.  Please contact Rita Lawrence at rlawrence@hisd.com (903-668-5990, ext. 5723), if you did not receive a newsletter in the mail.  We will be happy to update your mailing address and get a newsletter to you.  The 6th Annual Golf Tournament "Fore" the Kids was held June 18 @ Wood Hollow Golf Course in Longview, TX.  Click the Golf Tournament link to view a list of winners and sponsors.
