Sexual Harassment
The District has developed and implements policies regarding Sexual Harassment/Sexual Abuse in regard to the following: student to student; student to employee; employee to student; employee to employee. Individuals must not engage in unwanted and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature directed toward another individual. This prohibition applies whether the conduct is by word, a gesture, or any other sexual conduct, including requests for sexual favors. All individuals are expected to treat each other with courtesy and respect. Complaints may be filed with campus administrators and/or the Hallsville ISD Title IX coordinator, Ann Talley Newell, Director of Special Programs, 668-5990, extension 5019. Retaliation for filing a sexual harassment complaint is prohibited by Hallsville ISD. (HISD policies: DIA(L), FFH(L).
