Publications, Video, TV and Internet

Students in Hallsville ISD are sometimes asked to be part of school or district publicity, publications, or public relations activities. For example, pictures and articles about school activities may appear in school publications or be given to local newspapers. Students may also participate in distance learning, virtual field trips, and video conferencing through interactive television, which involves transmitting the student’s voice and image to distance sites. Participating in an interactive TV transmission is not a violation of any person’s privacy rights.
