Exit-Level TAKS Test
A student who has not performed satisfactorily on all sections of the exit-level TAKS by the time he or she has successfully completed the twelfth grade shall not receive a high school diploma until the student has performed satisfactorily on all sections, unless the student has been exempted from the TAKS requirement by the student's ARD Committee. Education Code 28.025. 19 TAC 101.2(d).
Students who have successfully completed all course work/credits, but have not passed the exit-level TAKS test will be allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies and receive a certificate of completion.
