Graduation Requirements

(To receive a High School diploma)

All students will be required to complete a minimum of 27 credits based on individual graduation plans. All units shall be completed in grades 9-12, except high school courses satisfactorily completed in grades 7 and /or 8. All courses used to meet state graduation requirements shall be selected from State Board approved courses, grades 9-12. A student must perform satisfactorily on all sections of the exit-level TAKS before he or she receives a high school diploma, unless exempted from the TAKS requirement by the student's ARD committee.
