HISD Tax Rate Adoption Notice (Senate Bill 18)
The Hallsville Independent School District Board of Trustees adopted a total tax rate of $1.587 at a called board meeting on August 30, 2005. The Maintenance and Operations tax rate is $1.473 and the Debt Service tax rate is $0.114 for a total of $1.587 per one hundred dollars in value. Last year’s total tax rate was $1.625.

HALLSVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $0.
