Hallsville High School Art Students Create Portraits for Colombian ChildrenPosted: December 15, 2016
With the support from the Education Foundation's grant, our Hallsville High School art students (under the direction of Amanda Clements) were able to once again team up with the wonderful Memory Project organization. This fall, 30 of our High School art students created beautiful portraits of children in Colombia. The organization, The Memory Project, then delivered these works of art. The Memory Project put together this very special video for us to experience the special moment of them being delivered. "This has been an extremely powerful experience for our students to be a part of," said Mrs. Clements. "Art is a universal language and spreads joy across the globe. We thank you all for your support."
