Tracy Conway, Assistant Principal
My name is Tracy Conway, and I am the Asst. Principal of Hallsville North Elementary. I have been married to my husband, Kenneth for 22 years. We have two children, Kameron and Kennedy. Kameron is a graduate of Hallsville and Kennedy is a Junior this year. We are also parents to 3 fur babies; Kasey our lab, Daisy our Dachshund, and Precious our cat.
I attended Hallsville schools from Kindergarten -12th grade and graduated from Hallsville High School in 1989. After High School, I attended Kilgore Junior College and Stephen F. Austin State University. I began my first year of teaching in Harleton ISD. During my first year, I began working on my Masters in Administrative Certification and graduated from SFA in 2000. In 2001, My husband was transferred to the Ft. Worth area and we lived there for 7 years. While living in Ft. Worth, I taught 3rd grade for 3 years at Eagle Mountain Elementary and then moved into an Assistant Principal position at Remington Point for 3 years. In 2008, we moved our family back to East Texas. We knew that the only place that we wanted our kids to attend school was Hallsville ISD. In 2008, I went back to the classroom teaching 3rd grade. I taught 3rd grade until November of 2010 and then moved back into Administration.
I am honored to be a part of a school district that is “TRULY” all about kids and helping them to be lifelong learners while molding them into productive members of society. North Elementary is an awesome campus where kids can strive for excellence and our staff will help them every step of the way.
