My name is Carol Byrd and this begins my 26th year of teaching.  I am a Hallsvile graduate and proud to be teaching in the district where I attended as a student.  I received a Bachelor of Music from East Texas Baptist University.

I am married to Jeff Byrd and we have 1 son who is a Hallsville graduate and 1 granddaughter who will start Kindergarten this year.  I enjoy playing the piano, singing, reading. and showing horses.
