My name is Robert Nicholas Counts and I will be teaching 7th grade writing classes.

I am extremely excited to begin my first year teaching at Hallsville Junior High. I graduated from Texas A&M University Texarkana with a degree in Applied Sciences with Educational Focus. I am married and have four wonderful children. 

I have a background steeped in writing, I was a journalist for 15 years working for various newspapers around the Northeast Texas area. 

I cannot wait to head into this year with these students and impart as much of my knowledge onto them as possible, and strive to push them for success and excellence!
