I have been teaching since 1978. I have been at Hallsvillw since 1981. I graduted from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1978 with a B.S. in Education with a math major. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1981 with a Master of Education.

I am married to Debra Staggs, who is a teacher at Hallsville.  I have two adult children and five grandchildren.
