About Mrs. Graff

I am Mrs. Graff and I teach BIM I (Business Information Management I), BIM II and Computer Programming I, II and Project Based Research.  I am also the Lead Adviser for our HHS FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Chapter.

I have been married to my husband, Chad, for over 27 years and we have two children, Darby and Garrett. Darby is a 2012 HHS graduate, a 2015 Texas A&M graduate and is in her first season as the Head Volleyball coach at ETBU. Garrett is a 2016 HHS graduate and will graduate from ETBU this December with a BBA.

I graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 1994 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education degree and a major in Secondary Business Education.  I added a certification for Elementary Education in 2004.  Before teaching full time, I spent 16 years in the business sector as an insurance representative.

This is my sixth year at HHS.  Before coming to HHS, I spent 9 years teaching third grade at Hallsville Intermediate/East Elementary.

I LOVE teaching at HHS and especially enjoy teaching BIM as I believe it truly covers skills that are essential for success in all areas of life - from maintaining personal information to producing quality academic documents to eventually being successful in a chosen career field. I am excited about the opportunity to work in the classroom with our students who are pursuing Computer Programming as we learn all about the programming language, JAVA. The best part of teaching is when one of my students comes back and tells me how he/she used what they learned in my classroom in another part of their life!
