Several supplies for Hallsville 7th and 8th graders will be provided by the school for the 23-24 school year.

Notes from the Nurse about Vaccinations and Waivers
It is not too soon to start thinking ahead to next school year! All students must receive 2 vaccinations before beginning 7th grade - Tdap and MCV (meningitis). Students can get these as early as age 11, so your child may have already gotten them at his/her last checkup. If so, please make sure that the nurse's office has a record of these or any other recent immunization records. Doctor's schedules book up quickly for well-child visits, especially during the summer, so you may want to call now and make your child an appointment if needed. Students with immunization waivers: Please make sure they are current. Affidavits of Exemption for immunizations are valid for 2 years. If yours is going to expire, or if you would like to apply for one through the state, please do so in plenty of time to receive it before registration. Waivers must be notarized and the original document in the nurse's office before the start of school.
