Emergent Bilingual Program

Hallsville ISD had record numbers reclassify and exit the bilingual program in the 2023-2024 school year. These students not only had to pass their STAAR assessments, but also had to score Advanced High as their composite score on the TELPAS assessments; Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Our brick-and-mortar campuses had 58 students meet the criteria, with Texas Virtual Academy Hallsville adding 176. We are so very proud of their hard work and determination and hope they continue their study of all languages!
