Hallsville’s Addisyn Horn Places 3rd at Texas FFA State
Hallsville High School's Addisyn Horn earned third place overall in the Senior Prepared Speaking division at the Texas FFA State Speaking Contest, held recently at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
Horn competed in the Ag Policy division, where she placed second, advancing to the finals round against top speakers from various categories, including Ag Technology & Communications, Natural Resources, and Animal Science. Her final ranking as third overall in the senior division highlights her outstanding public speaking skills and deep knowledge of agricultural issues.
The achievement follows two years of dedication, with Horn spending countless hours researching agricultural policy, revising her speech in response to evolving legislation, and presenting to a wide range of audiences.
Horn’s latest honor adds to a growing list of accomplishments this year, and Hallsville ISD proudly celebrates her continued excellence in FFA leadership.
