Members of the Hallsville chapter of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) recently attended the TAFE Teach Tomorrow Summit held February 26–28, 2026, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. TAFE is a statewide co-curricular organization that gives students the opportunity to explore the teaching profession and prepare for careers in education. This year’s summit brought together more than 3,700 students from across Texas who share an interest in becoming future educators.

During the three-day conference, Hallsville students participated in a variety of competitive events that highlight skills related to teaching, leadership, and communication. Sixteen Hallsville students competed at the state level, earning several honors for their outstanding work and preparation.
