HISD Math & Science Teams Earns Top 10 Finish at State

The Hallsville Junior High (HJH) and Hallsville Intermediate School (HIS) Bobcat Math & Science Team (MST) delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Texas Middle School State Championship held this past Saturday in San Antonio. Competing against 45 Class 5A schools from across the state, the Bobcats secured an impressive 7th place overall finish, placing them among the top-performing teams in Texas.
This achievement reflects months of dedication, preparation, and teamwork. Students committed countless hours to sharpening their skills, resulting in strong finishes across multiple events and divisions. The accomplishment highlights both individual excellence and the collective strength of the program, making the entire Hallsville ISD community proud.
