Ms. Lisa Craig McKnight

I am a native of Hallsville.  My parents are Roy Wayne and Neta Craig.  I graduated from Hallsville High in 1981.  In 1985, I graduated with a teaching degree from SFASU.  Since that time, I have taught almost every grade level and core subject.  I have worked in small 1A school districts and in 5A districts.  I spent 15+ years as a school principal.  I finally retired from education as a Federal Programs Director.  Once I retired, I realized that I missed the students and the school environment too much.  I returned to teaching about a year and a half after retiring. This is my second year as a classroom teacher after retiring.  I feel I have come full circle by returning to my hometown to teach.  Hallsville is a great place to be!   I love this community, the North campus,  and I love my students!.
