Pursuing Excellence In Education

Hallsville Education Foundation

The Hallsville Education Foundation was created in 2001 to discover resources to fund educational projects that otherwise would not be funded through HISD's regular budget.  Throughout it's life, the Foundation has channeled thousands of local dollars back into the HISD schools, all for the benefit of students.  Without the Foundation, many critical experiences would not be available to the children of Hallsville.

Our Purpose

The Hallsville Education Foundation shares a vision of enhancing education in Hallsville ISD, works to increase private support for education activities, fosters creative approaches to education, and awards funds through a volunteer Board of Directors made up of business, community, and educational leaders.

Our Mission

The Hallsville Education Foundation will generate and distribute resources that enhance the quality of education, one student at a time.

Our Goals

The Hallsville Education Foundation will achieve its mission by directing resources toward the following goals:

  1. Building community awareness
  2. Inspiring parents and the community to create partnerships with HISD to enrich education
  3. Motivating students to continually exceed expectations
  4. Supporting staff for innovative efforts
  5. Recognizing exemplary efforts

Get Rowdy, Get Loud

Get Rowdy, Get Loud Flyer

The Hallsville Education Foundation is inviting local businesses, organizations, and community partners to become sponsors of its 16th Annual Get Rowdy, Get Loud fundraising event, scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Pinecrest Country Club in Longview.

2026 Sponsor Form

This year's event marks a significant milestone as the Foundation celebrates 25 years of supporting excellence in education throughout Hallsville ISD. Thanks to the generosity of donors and sponsors over the past quarter-century, the Hallsville Education Foundation has invested more than $1 million in innovative classroom grants, teacher mini-grants, scholarships, and other educational initiatives that directly benefit Hallsville students and educators.

The Foundation has set an ambitious goal of raising $200,000 through this year's Get Rowdy, Get Loud event. Funds raised will continue to provide valuable resources that enrich learning opportunities, encourage innovation in the classroom, and help ensure students and teachers have the tools they need to succeed.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available to fit businesses and organizations of all sizes. Sponsorship levels range from $1,500 Table Sponsorships to the exclusive $20,000 Presenting Sponsorship, with each level offering valuable recognition before and during the event. Depending on the sponsorship selected, benefits may include reserved event seating, company logo placement on promotional materials, recognition on the event website and social media platforms, logo placement on electronic bidding devices, and opportunities to sponsor unique event experiences.

Several sponsorship levels also provide a lasting impact beyond the event itself by funding scholarships or teacher mini-grants presented in the sponsoring company's name during the 2026-2027 school year.

The Foundation encourages interested businesses to reserve their sponsorships early, as several opportunities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and some sponsorship categories have already been claimed.

To become a sponsor or learn more about available sponsorship opportunities, contact Lauren Bresch, Executive Director of the Hallsville Education Foundation, at 903-668-5990, ext. 5049, or email lbresch@hisd.com.

Sponsor commitments and payments are due by August 1, 2026, to ensure inclusion in all marketing and promotional materials.

Together, the Hallsville community can continue investing in the future of Hallsville ISD—one student at a time.

Grants

The Hallsville Education Foundation is proud to support innovative learning opportunities through teacher and campus grants that enhance the educational experience for Hallsville ISD students. These grants help bring creative ideas to life by funding classroom resources, technology, hands-on learning experiences, and special projects that may not otherwise be possible through traditional school funding. Since the Foundation was established in 2001, we have donated more than $1,000,000 to Hallsville ISD classrooms and programs. By investing directly in our teachers and students, the Foundation is committed to inspiring excellence, encouraging innovation, and enriching education across our district.
