Whether you’re a returning Bobcat family or joining us for the first time, this page is here to help you stay organized and informed. You’ll find important dates, school supply lists, registration information, transportation details, and other key resources to make your transition back to school on August 13 as smooth as possible. We’re thrilled to welcome our students, staff, and families back to Hallsville ISD for another exciting year of learning, growth, and Bobcat pride. Let’s make 2026-27 our best year yet in HISD!

  • Online Registration for all returning students begins on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

  • In-Person Registration

    • PK/Kindergarten: July 28, 2026 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • All Students: July 29, 2026 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • All Students: July 30, 2026 - 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

     

    What to Bring

    • Proof of residence – lease/rental agreement or most recent Harrison County Tax Statement. (Utility  bills cannot be used.)
    • Child’s birth certificate
    • Child’s Social Security card
    • Parent/Guardian's driver’s license or Passport
    • Prior school report card
    • Any guardianship or legal documents of the child (if applicable).
    • Any Special programs paperwork (Sped, 504, EB, ESL, GT)
    • Current Immunization Records (see Immunizations information in next section)

  • *Please bring the following immunization records for each child registering:

    • Pre-K/Kindergarten vaccines are possibly needed, if not up to date, please check with the nurse:
      • DTAP -Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis
      • IPV – Polio
      • MMR – Measles, Mumps, Rubella;
      • Varicella – chicken pox; Hepatitis A; Hepatitis B
      • Hib – Haemophilus influenzae type B
      • PCV – pneumococcal conjugate vaccine
    • Incoming 7th graders for the 2026-2027 school year:
      • MCV4 and Tdap (meningitis vaccine and tetanus booster) – both required for 7th grade;
      • HPV optional
