Posted Date: 04/24/26 (10:43 AM)

Hallsville ISD proudly recognized four outstanding students at the April Board of Trustees meeting for earning the prestigious AP Capstone Diploma following the 2025 AP exams.Congratulations to Kush Mali, Reagan Allen, Bailey Gauntt, and Olivia Odom on achieving this significant academic milestone.

The AP Capstone program is a rigorous, college-level initiative that includes AP Seminar and AP Research, courses designed to develop students’ skills in critical thinking, independent research, collaboration, and effective presentation. These courses challenge students to explore complex topics, evaluate multiple perspectives, and produce scholarly work that prepares them for success beyond high school.

To earn the AP Capstone Diploma, students must score a 3 or higher on both AP Seminar and AP Research, in addition to earning a score of 3 or higher on four additional AP exams of their choice. This distinction is formally recognized on students’ AP score reports and provides a strong indicator of college readiness to universities across the country.

This accomplishment reflects not only academic excellence, but also dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to high-level learning.

Hallsville ISD celebrates these students for their hard work and for representing Bobcat Nation with excellence.
