Band Earns First Division Rating, Advances to State Marching Contest

The Hallsville Bobcat Band is headed to STATE following an outstanding performance at the UIL Marching Contest on Saturday, October 17, at Bobcat Stadium!
The Roaring Band from Bobcat Land earned a First Division rating, marking another tremendous accomplishment for the talented student musicians and their directors.
The First Division rating reflects the hard work, dedication, and countless hours of preparation these students have invested throughout the marching season. From early rehearsals to Friday night performances, the Bobcat Band continues to represent Hallsville ISD with excellence, pride, and tradition.
Now, the Bobcats are preparing to take their talents to the next level as they head to Baylor University in Waco for the State Marching Contest on Wednesday, October 28.
Hallsville ISD congratulates every member of the Bobcat Band, along with its directors, staff, and supporters, for their commitment to excellence. We are proud of the students' accomplishments and look forward to cheering them on as they represent Hallsville on the state stage.
Congratulations, Bobcat Band! Best of luck at STATE! 💜🥁🐾
