Ms. Denise Azeneth Mata

Hello Bobcats!

My name is Denise Mata. I am a former graduate from Henderson, Tx. I earned my Associates of Art and Associates of Science from Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas. I completed partial work for my BFA at The University of Texas at Arlington, where my focus was on sculpture, glassblowing, and French. In 2020, I transferred to The University of Texas at Tyler during my senior year and switched my focus to printmaking.  I have exhibited my work in three international exhibitions, both juried and non-juried, and have had my work displayed in two international magazines. 

My work has been displayed in galleries as well as international and virtual exhibitions. I was also recognized for my work and making the Dean's List while attending UT Arlington. My hopes are to encourage your children to explore their creativity in a thoughtful and exciting way. I look forward to seeing the wonderful ideas and artwork your children are just waiting to share!
