Mrs. Carol Pannell

My name is Carol Pannell and I teach 5th grade Science for Hallsville Intermediate.  I am a Longview native, born and bred.  I graduated from University Texas at Arlington in 2002 with a Marketing degree.  I went on to work in mortgage finance for 5 years before going through Region VII Alternative Certification Program to get my teaching certificate.  I used to teach 8th grade math at Judson Middle School.  I was a teacher at Judson for 5 years before my husband and I decided I would stay at home with our children.  During my time as a stay at home mom, I worked part time teaching prekindergarten at my church for their mothers day out program.   My husband and I have two beautiful daughers and they also attend Hallsville ISD.  We currently live in the wonderful community of Hallsville and are members at Mobberly Baptist Church!  In my free time, I love to read a good book, watch movies, eat some yummy mexican food, take my kids on fun outings and SHOP!!  I feel extermely blessed to be a part of HISD!!  Go Bobcats!!!
