Emma Boyum

Hello!  My name is Emma Boyum, and I work in the counseling department at Hallsville Intermediate. I graduated from LeTourneau University with my teaching degree and have continued my education in counseling at Lamar University. I have worked as an ELA teacher in the Hallsville School District since 2016 and look forward to advocating for our students as a counselor!

I have a passion for teaching, inspiring, and helping our students in our school district. I have been blessed to be surrounded by the phenomenal staff at Hallsville Intermediate, which has helped me grow into the dedicated teacher I am today. Seeing the work our staff does behind closed doors verifies that Hallsville ISD truly is a one-of-a-kind school district that honors and respects all students and staff. I am honored to be a part of this rigorous educational community and can’t wait to transition from teaching our students ELA to teaching them social and emotional skills that they will build on for years to come!
