Mrs. Cernosek

Hello! My name is Melissa Cernosek and I teach 3rd grade reading and social studies at East Elementary. This is my 6th year at East and my 16th year in Education. I graduated from Carthage ISD in 1999 and then went on to Southwestern Assemblies of God University to get my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and later my Masters of Education in School Counseling.  I married my husband Ryan in September of 2021 and we have one Miniature Poodle named Copper. I also have a bonus son, Logan, and  three crazy nephews, Colton, Jacob and Justin.
