Hello,

My name is Mindy Baker. I am a proud Kindergarten Teacher at Hallsville East Elementary. I began teaching kindergarten in 1994. Kindergarten is where my heart is and I love seeing the progress that one year can make in the life of a child. I am a graduate of Carthage High School and UT Tyler where I received a degree in Early Childhood Education. I sincerely love my job but when I am not working I am spending time with my husband of 27 years, Shannon, or our two daughters, Aubrey and Sydney. Aubrey attends TWU in Denton as a Freshman  and Sydney attends SAGU as a Senior. We love to go on vacations, to go to the movies, and playing board games with our friends. Our family also spends a great deal of time with our church family and serving our community. We love our Hallsville family and look forward to continuing our journey together.
