Mrs. Laurie Bonner

Hello! My name is Laurie Bonner and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at East Elementary! I have been teaching since 2002 in a variety of settings and grade levels. Teaching has been my passion since I was a little girl and I hope to be in the classroom for many years to come!

I have a wonderful family at home to support me: my husband, Zach, and our 3 children Chloe, Brantley, and Ramsey. We like to go camping, boating, and keep the roads hot going to baseball tournaments and dance competitions. We are animal lovers and have 3 dogs: Cocoa, Clancy, and Millie and 1 cat named Princess SassyPants (yes, that is her name)!

I love to read, shop, and spend time traveling. Dr Pepper, sweet tea, and anything spicy are my weaknesses! My favorite places are Chick Fil A, Papacitas, Target, and Hobby Lobby!

I am so excited about this year and all it will hold. I love to watch the progress the students make from the beginning to the end of the year. I am always so impressed with the growth I see. I also cherish the lessons that I learn from my students year after year. 

My conference time is 10:15-11:00
