In the first grade, I became a Bobcat in Hallsville, where I continued to learn and grow until high school graduation in 1997.  After graduating, I continued my education by attending East Texas Baptist University, achieving a degree of Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education in 2001.  For 25 years I have been married to Cory Perkins, a Minister to Young Adults and Young Families. We have four precious children, Baylie, Avery, Graycen, and Lainey.   I love spending time with my family, and we stay busy supporting our children as they train and compete in running events.  I enjoy reading, relaxing at the lake, drinking coffee, and watching beautiful sunsets. In my free time, I like shopping at Hobby Lobby, Target, and Mardel.  I love teaching and I find great joy in getting to know my students and watching them grow to reach their fullest potential!
