GO BOBCATS!!
The Caldwell Zoo is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for our inaugural Zoo Crew volunteer program! We are looking for responsible, fun-loving students ages 14-17 who are passionate about animals, helping people, or spending time outside. This program is designed to help students gain valuable work experience while making meaningful contributions to the Caldwell Zoo’s mission. If you have any students who would be interested in volunteering with us, we would greatly appreciate if you could share this information with them. We would love to see their application!
Zoo Crew members will volunteer alongside the Education Team in our summer camps, where each day will be filled with fun and challenging activities like games, crafts, and animal encounters. Volunteers will be an integral part of implementing these activities, and can even earn the ability to handle and present our Ambassador Animals during encounters. We are asking Zoo Crew members to commit to 2 weeks of volunteering from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
More information about this program and a link to the application can be found on our website: https://caldwellzoo.org/zoo-crew/.
The Zoo Crew application deadline is set for March 1st, 2021. We will be contacting applicants to schedule an interview with our Education Team throughout the month of March. Successful applicants will be notified of their acceptance into the program in early April. If you or your students have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us or call at either of the extensions listed below. We would love to hear from you!
