Amber Daub, Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction
Dr. Amber Daub serves Hallsville ISD as Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Professional Development. 2017-2018 marks her eighteenth year in education and her eleventh year with HISD.
Amber taught in Plano and Calallen Independent School Districts before becoming assistant principal for Calallen ISD. Furthering her career in administration, she became principal and central office director for Hallsville ISD in 2012. Her work has been both at the elementary and secondary levels, with a specialized focus in professional learning communities, systematic processes, response to intervention and building capacity in leadership.
In 2011, the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals named her Texas Middle School Principal of the Year. This award was the result of data driven, student-focused efforts alongside HISD educators that resulted in high levels of student achievement. Dr. Daub considers working with Hallsville ISD to be the greatest honor of her career.
Amber is married to JP Daub and has two sons, Hudson and Harrison, who attend Hallsville schools. The Daub Family is proud to call Bobcat Country their home!
