I've added a down-and-dirty tutorial for adding a jQuery accordion control to your HISD web page -- if you so desire. And since you asked, an accordion is a graphical control element comprising a vertically stacked list of items, such as labels or thumbnails. Each item can be "expanded" or "stretched" to reveal the content associated with that item. I've created the CSS entries to make the control blend in with our existing theme.

Using a shared Google Drive folder with the HISD Web site is a simple and easily maintainable way to share content with staff, parents, and the community. Additionally, our Google Apps instance automatically handles and displays compatible files types (images, video, spreadsheets, etc.) directly in the user's browser -- no download needed.
