Mrs. Lindsay Slaten is completing her 17th year in education. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary degree in 2004. She continued her education by earning a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling at Stephen F. Austin State University and Superintendent certification from Lamar University.Mrs. Slaten bleeds purple and gold and loves being a part of the Bobcat Family. She has served HISD as teacher, counselor, assistant principal, junior high principal, and high school principal.
Lindsay has been married to Lance Slaten for 17 years. They have 4 children, Justin, Audrey, Brody and Caroline. During their spare time they love to travel and attend various sporting events.
