As the 2025–26 school year approaches, Hallsville ISD reminds families that all registration for returning students will be completed online—no in-person registration will be offered this year.

Beginning July 15 at 10:00 a.m., families can log into their Skyward Family Access account at family.hisd.com to complete the required Online Registration process. The deadline to complete all forms and upload necessary documents is August 7. This system allows parents to avoid long lines and campus visits, making the back-to-school process more convenient than ever.

A key part of Online Registration is uploading Proof of Residency for each student, which will be verified by the student’s campus prior to the start of school. Acceptable documents include:

• A 2024 Harrison County Tax Statement (not an estimate)
• A current lease or purchase agreement
• Approved student transfer documentation
• Families facing special circumstances should contact their child’s campus office directly.

While most paperwork is handled online, students may still need to clear any fines, fees, or outstanding vaccinations. Campuses will notify families of these issues and provide instructions for resolution. An email about a free vaccination clinic is expected later this week.

Important Reminders:

• Online registration is REQUIRED for all returning HISD students. Paper copies will not be available.
• Only the first guardian listed in Skyward will receive official registration emails, but either parent in the primary family can complete the online forms.
• If you do not have computer access, contact your campus for assistance. Appointments are required, and availability at some campuses may not begin until July 21.
• If you don’t have a Family Access login, call your child’s school office for help setting one up.
