If you feel uncomfortable with the comments or actions of someone… tell someone! It is better to let a trusted adult know, than to let the problem continue. Get familiar with what bullying is and what it is not. If you recognize any of the descriptions, you should stay calm, stay respectful, and tell an adult as soon as possible. Remember, bullying does not only happen at school. It can happen anywhere, including through texting, the internet and social media.
Hallsville ISD offers several options for reporting bullying:
- Tell your parents, teachers, or other school staff
Your parents and HISD staff are there to help and are your first line of defence. Please do not hesitate to reach out to an adult if you or somone you know is being bullied. - Call or Text the Stop Bullying Hotline at (903) 660-7878
Send us a text or leave a message at (903) 660-7878 with a detailed description of what's going on if you or someone you know is being bullied, and we'll get on it ASAP. * - Use the Hallsville ISD "Report Bullying" form
