  • Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle Gold Member The HISD Business Office is committed to providing HISD stakeholders with current information regarding the financial condition of the District.  Documents are added and updated on this site as new information becomes available.

    HISD received the Platinum Award in 2014, which provides taxpayers with more specific information than in previous years. In 2011, the District received its first recognition as a Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle Gold Member.  In 2012 and 2013, HISD received the award for the second and third consecutive year.

    PUBLIC INFORMATION REQUESTS

    Community members requesting to review or obtain public information from HISD should do so by one of the following, designated written methods:

    Via in-person delivery at 311 Willow Street, Hallsville, Texas 75650; or
    Via physical mail to PO Box 810, Hallsville, TX 75650; or
    Via electronic mail to gwalker2@hisd.com.

    The written request should include enough description and detail about the desired information to enable HISD to accurately identify and locate the information requested. Clarification or narrowing may be requested from HISD, as necessary. Further information regarding requests under the Texas Public Information Act can be found in HISD Board Policies GBA and GBAA.
