Mrs. Teressa Strizich

I am a proud mother of three wonderful girls, Suzie 22 years old, Cherish 21 years old, and Faith 13 years old and one boy, Tyler 17 years old.  I moved to Texas in February of 2009 from Arkansas. I graduated in 2007 from the University of Arkansas with my Masters of Arts in Teaching.  I AM a Razorback fan, Go Hogs Go!!! This is my fourteenth year of teaching Science at Hallsville Junior High.  I try to make Science as enjoyable as I can through song, hands-on labs, exploration, and food. We focus a lot on the ability to use parts of your brain to learn new things that you might not use every day.  Students should experience Science hands-on instead of reading about it in a book. Our 8th grade team believes that anyone can love Science as long as they are willing to try.  We look forward to seeing you in our new classrooms in August.
