Hello!!!!  My name is Jennifer Roberts and I am a Professional School Counselor at Hallsville Junior High.  I serve students in the 8th grade and 6th grade with last names ending in M-Z.  I also serve as the State Assessment Coordinator for the campus.  I am beginning my 21st year in education.  After graduating high school, I continued my post secondary education at Stephen F. Austin State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and my Master of Arts degree in School Counseling.  Axe'em Jacks!!!  I was in the classroom for 10 years before entering the counseling field.  My teaching experience includes self-contained Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and ESL.  My school counseling experience involves experience at both the junior high and high school levels.  I also obtained my Principal certification from Texas A&M-Texarkana while in their Educational Administration masters program.

I look forward to working with all of my students and their parents throughout the school year.  I love being a school counselor and look forward to another fabulous year at Hallsville Junior High.
