• On-Level Course expectations:

    1. Be on time, prepared, and respectful

    2. Do not distract from other students that are willing and wanting to learn.

    3. At the beginning of the year, I will provide parents and students with a code to a Remind- 101. Please, sign up for this, as this will keep you informed regarding tests and projects.

    4. In 8th grade On-Level ELA, we do not usually have homework. In order for this to be achieved, we must work and stay on task in class.

     

     

    Pre-AP Course Expectations:

    4. The summer reading project, The Giver, that is a course requirement, will be due and turned in two weeks after starting school. We will utilize this project throughout the school year.

    5. Pre-AP does not have a lot of homework, depending on the amount of effort the student applies to the class. However, the class will complete several projects throughout the year. Some of the projects will have components that will be completed at home.
